Get ready for surprises at Avida-BGC, the country’s first interactive showroom


Today’s young go-getters are all about self-expression, letting their unique personalities shine through in everything that they do. They play by their own rules and go beyond the average, pursuing the passions and interests that define their individuality.

Now, young professionals and families can get a preview of how living in their very own home would look and feel like as Avida Land, an Ayala Land subsidiary, introduces the Interactive Showroom, located at Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. 


A first in the Philippines, the Avida Interactive Showroom is equipped with a touchscreen kiosk where prospective homeowners can log into their Facebook account. Once logged in, the system will access their most recent publicly-posted photos and display them on the digital picture frames located in the model unit of Avida Towers Turf BGC, thus providing an interactive peek into how the home would look and feel like when it’s theirs.

“We take and treasure photos of the people and things we love—family, friends, pets, trips—enough that we put them up on frames and display them on the walls of our living room and bedrooms. With this showroom, we want to be able to show future homeowners how their beautiful memories will be part of their Avida home,” shares Tess Tatco, Avida Marketing Head.

Very young-at-heart, I was delighted myself with my personal experience – seeing my well-loved celebrities as guests in my own Avida unit! Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, the well-loved tandem of the GMA Network served as my guests as pictures of them decorated the room of the Avida unit when it was my turn to try the interactive model unit during the press launch for select media representatives.

At the end of the event, we were given a challenge to come up with picture collage of personal photos showing various activities featuring the theme “Living with an Edge.” And here’s what I did for myself: my recent photos in different activities and coverages I did in line of work as a journalist. The collage summarizes the things that I enjoy best – doing my job and enjoying every bit of it!
